An Exploration of Queer and Trans Ministry with our Trans Seminarian Leadership Cohort: An ONLINE CLGS Event!

Click here for a video recording of this event!

At this event members of the Trans Seminarian Leadership Cohort, a group of trans and non-binary seminary students, explore ministry and religious leadership in our current social and political climate.  Presenters also share their own individual callings and experiences in religious formation.  In addition they discuss how the state of our world today, including continued anti-Black racism and the COVID-19 pandemic, has disproportionately impacted BIPOC and transgender and non-binary communities.

The Cohort members also talk about how their own communities, ministries, and lives have been impacted in these times.  Participants at this event were invited into this sacred space and were encouraged to ask questions and share parts of their own spiritual journeys and discernment. Finally, we hope that all leave this event/recording with new ideas about how to best support transgender and non-binary people in their communities.

This event was recorded on 7 April 2021.
