November 1, 2007 at 8:00am

Bring your lunch; CLGS will provide dessert and drinks.

Rev. Sanders, an out lesbian and Episcopal priest, is Associate Dean for Religious Life at Stanford University and was recently featured in The Advocate magazine reporting on "cool jobs" for LGBT people. As The Advocate noted, Sanders is "proof that a person doesn.t have to lose her religion because she's gay." Much more than that, Rev. Sanders engages in ministry for social change through her preaching at Stanford.s Memorial Chapel, teaching a class on nonviolent social change and forging a community among the 36 religious groups on campus.

Join the Center for Lesbian & Gay Studies in Religion and Ministry on November 1 to hear about the intersection of LGBT communities and Christian ministry on a major university campus.
