Making the connections between eroticism and spirituality has become increasingly common in recent years, but less so with reference to sadomasochistic practices and "leather sexuality." Joseph Bean is a writer, illustrator and social activist who has worked for many years on the connections between God and sex, especially in the often controversial realm of S&M and leather. His work has appeared in dozens of publications and includes Leathersex: A Guide for the Curious Outsider. He has also contributed to Different Loving, The Encyclopedia of Unusual Sex Practices, and Leatherfolk. Join us as we welcome this much sought after activist, speaker and instructor to the PSR campus. (Joseph Bean will also be presenting his work at MCC San Francisco that evening.)
