CLGS Lavender Lunch - Queer Spirituality-meaning, mental health and political activism
By: Edward Mac Manus
CLGS is excited to introduce Edward Mac Manus's work to the GTU community. Please join us for "Queer Spirituality-meaning, mental health and political activism." Edward Mac Manus is a visiting scholar from Ireland, based at CLGS and UC Berkeley. He will be giving an update on his doctoral research into religious and spiritual practice among queer people. His dissertation looks at the meaning of religious and spiritual practice among queer people and at the connections between queer spiritual practice and issues such as mental health and political activism.
Please plan to stop by and hear Edward Mac Manus talk about his work and impression of the GTU. Dont miss our usual "informal and lively" Lavender Lunch discussion!
