Bay Area Faith Communities and Proposition 8
Join progressive faith communities in the SF Bay Area to strategize around healing and life-giving responses to the upcoming California Supreme Court decision regarding the anti-marriage Proposition 8. The Bay Area Coalition of Welcoming Congregations has partnered with the Progressive Jewish Alliance, Jewish Mosaic, Equality California, and a number of Bay Area congregations for these events on April 28, May 5, 7, 12, and 14.
These conversations will help faith communities take a leadership role in this crucial social justice issue. Action steps will be planned at key areas around the Bay Area to help train and mobilize people of faith voice their public support for marriage and family equality.
