This is a special LGBT history weekend co-sponsored by the Center for Lesbian & Gay Studies in Religion & Ministry, the Pacific School of Religion, the LGBT Religious Archives Network and the Golden Gate Association of the United Church of Christ. Events this weekend will mark the 40th anniversary of the ordination of William R. Johnson and other early breakthroughs in LGBT religious movements in the Bay Area of California.
