Deb Cuny has spent the last seven years fighting for LGBT equality through grassroots and policy work in the nonprofit sector. As an organizer for Equality Virginia, a statewide LGBT organization, as well as a field director for a campaign to defeat an anti-LGBT ballot initiative, Deb worked with a variety of faith-based, business, and other community organizations to promote equality for all Virginians. An incoming Master of Divinity student at Pacific School of Religion, Deb hopes to continue advocating for compassion and justice within faith communities.
