NGLTF and HRC

In recent years the two leading, national activist organizations committed to working on behalf of LGBT people have made significant commitments to working with faith communities and supporting advocacy work in religious contexts.

The National Religious Leadership Roundtable of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force is a mutli-faith, multi-cultural network of faith leaders working for the LGBT civil and religious rights in many different communities around the country. CLGS has been a member of the Roundtable since the Center’s founding in 2000.

The Religion & Faith Program of the Human Rights Campaign supports a variety of programming efforts in many different groups will also offering its own web-based resources and event support for religious LGBT advocacy. CLGS has worked closely with HRC’s Religion and Faith Program on a number of programs.
