Entrepreneurial Ministries STFT-2895 (1.5)

This introductory course covers the nuts and bolts of creating and sustaining non-profit organizations and ministries, which many LGBT people of faith opt to do rather than or in addition to working for established church bodies. We'll cover such topics as personnel, funding, office management, interfacing with the larger institutional church as well as secular organizations, strategic planning, publicity and media relations./p>
Constructive Theology and LGBT Experience I (1.5)
M-F, January 10-14, 9:00am to 1:00pm Instructor: Jay E. Johnson
This course examines what "comes after" apologetics for lesbian and gay people in Christian churches. To discern positive and/or unique theological perspectives in LGBT experience we consider in this course the relationship and intersections of sexuality, sexual desire, spirituality and religious experience as a way to approach constructive contributions from LGBT people to Christian Theology.
