Resource Library

The Center for Lesbian and Gay Studies in Religion and Ministry's Resource Library organizes and provides access to resources that serve the Center's mission of providing the academic theological world, the churches, and the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered communities access to resources and research that help educate and shape public discourse on religion and sexuality. This library will continually be growing as new research and resources become available.

Terms & Definitions includes simple definitions for many commonly used words and phrases in the LGBT, theological, and religious arenas.

Many scholarly Articles & Papers are available —some excerpted from larger publications, and others published here for the first time.

The Audio Library makes accessible audio recordings on a variety of topics.

This library also provides access to the official statements on homosexuality from other organizations including statements from Religious Denominations and Professional Organizations such as the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association.

Congregational Materials are available as resources and reference. These include transcripts of open and affirming sermons, congregational materials, religious education resources, etc.

Included here are also Bibliographies of books and videos on various LGBT topics as well as Book Reviews on books in the areas of religion and sexuality.
